"to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven"
Hi, its been a long time since I've written and I want to share something exciting with you. If you know me, and everyone reading this does, you know I paint representative artwork ..... babies, puppies, flowers, statues, vases, landscapes. And on and on and on. It's what I loved to study and learn to paint. Fifteen years of it. Proud to say I've been given medals and awards and commissions over the past ten years, so I'm doing some good work I think. Classes, demos, books and years of model studio work have been a part of the learning process too.
But "to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven". And so I am turning an artistic corner or should I say, I'm adding another color to my artistic tapestry. And I like the concept of change. Always have, always will! I am working large and abstract. I liken it to what children do before they learn to make stick figures. It's all about movement, emotion, and color and concentration. Taking chances and using your intuition.
I hope you'll support, encourage and advise me. My family, friends and clients are so very important to me and what you think means everything to me!
